CMK Blog Hop Reveal

3 times a charm?

Either my computer is acting wonky (ehem. probably) or typepad doesn't like me very much. So this is my third attempt to post the reveal layout for the May CMK kit. Sour Photos needed

I can't wait to teach a class at Get It Scrapped this fall called "When Life Gives You Lemons"  It will be based on many of the concepts and ideas discussed in my book by the same title.  What I am looking for is sour photos that have special meaning. If you are interested in sharing YOUR sour photos that actually have a meaningful story (not the ones where some random stranger is walking by and you accidently snap your camera), I am going to pick one (maybe two) photos that I will scrapbook for my class and you will win a copy of my book "When Life Gives You Lemons"  All you have to do is email me at sherrysteveson@gmail.com  with your 'Sour" photo.

that's the # of photos I took today of Madison.

AFTER I bribed her with an offer of ice cream if she would let me do a photo shoot. So I asked her to grab three outfits and I whisked her downtown to the same places I took Jacob for his Senior photos. I had been itching to take her down there for nearly 6mos. We had a lovely weather day (perfect overcast most of the time.. I was lovin' it). So... I can't share ALL 367 photos... really.. as much as I WANT to share them... there really are only about... 200 that I LOVE! lol... seriously though. I'll spare you the proud momma moments and just share a few.

Here are just a sampling of my gorgeous (about to be locked in the closet so take a close look while you can) daughter. I'm pretty sure that if any of the boys see this they will see beyond the brainy, bossy interior and start beating down our doors. So far, they can't quite get past her Dad, big brother and a hovering mother. WHEW!

Happy Easter. We will spend it quietly together as a family. My kids have outgrown easter hunts and baskets so it's more a time to reflect on the true meaning. The Lord has Risen.

I'm excited to share THIS news (you'll have to scroll about half way down the page to see ME)....

And I got an email from Scrapbooking and Cards Today saying they want one of my layouts for the Summer issue.

I am working on some cool stuff that is in the works and has something to do with THIS website... stay tuned for more about that soon.

Currently on spring break with the kids and I thought I would take the kids to the beach tomorrow and found out our high will only be in the mid 50's. EHEM... so. When is Spring/Summer gonna ever get here, people? Or should I say Mother Nature? Good grief. So.. I think maybe it will be movie day.
